Life After Stroke: Leonardo

Life After Stroke: Leonardo

How did my son's stroke change my life?

To be or not to be, that is the question...
In Summary: My son's stroke has distorted my mother's way of being. First of all, I'm a mom plus mom: The Curse of our firstborn has put on me an irrepressable instinct to wind. We have three children now and I would continue, even if it were not that...

Here's what I remember of his birth, I remember his rosy face, plump and above all serene.
Maybe that's what I want to remember because in reality this feeling of peace, of extreme beauty lasted a moment and then I slipped away from my hands despite efforts to stop the memory of that beautiful perception of emotional perfection.

Life After Stroke: Federico

Life After Stroke: Federico

A chair in a waiting room. This is what I remember about the moment when, during the ultrasound of the eighth month, the doctor told us that "something was wrong". I remember the legs that were plotting and that chair, where I could not sit, waiting for the doctor to write the report and call us again in the study....
